Good Monday Morning GB10, saw 5 new pages and thought that was a good thing...could not have been more wrong
My Broncos came up one more drive of having Comet crapping his pants...two weeks in a row the defense hasn't gotten a 3 and out when it had too. Given the fact that Denver's only two losses are to teams still undefeated (Falcons and Texans) and both games were decided by a single score, I still really like their chances of winning the AFC West division.
Well it's Rick and I for the GB10 Baseball Championship (just like I predicted at the beginning of the season) and now I have to decide if I want to play to win at all costs or straight up like I have been all season...something to ponder for the next 4 hours.
I have a strong chance of going 3-1 in my 4 fantasy league and was the highest scoring team in my one money league (other is going to be a loss and that team is 0-3...UGGGGGH!!!)...my 2-1 teams still need some tweaking though
In the 1st quarter AZ had more yards and more 1st downs, but nothing to show for it. They went for it on 4th down twice in the red zone and RODRIGUEZ IS DUMBA$$!
As tempting as it was to load up my pitching slots with 2-start pitchers, I kept true to the spirit of fair competiton and left Lance Lynn and Kris Medlen in SP slots rather than moving them to RP slots. Now I have to see if I made the right decision in leaving such known SP stallwarts as Roy Halladay, Madison Bumgarner, and Kyle Lohse on the bench in favor of 2-start options like Trevor Cahill and Phil Hughes (my only non 2-start SP is Cliff Lee)...only time will tell, but I like my chances.
